The client wanted to create a sense of vibrancy and coherence in a sequence of three Brooklyn brownstones. Rather than planting with annuals that would offer little in the way of ecological value and would need replacing, the new container and tree bed plantings combine colorful and long-blooming perennials and grasses for long-lasting multi-season pleasure for residents and passersby alike.
